Prior to joining our law firm as a partner (March 2013) he managed an own attorney and notary office in Lucerne since 1977. He deals with all matters of private law (civil code and code of obligations). In addition, since 1981 Hans Jörg Wälti is by election of the Goverment Council of the Canton of Lucerne official defender, and handles criminal law mandates.

As notary public of the Canton of Lucerne Hans Jörg Wälti attends to all transactions of marital and inheritance law that require notarial acts (such as marriage contracts, contracts of inheritance, wills), to real estate transactions (such as sales contracts, donation contracts, creations of a lien, easement agreements), and to all transactions of company law (e.g. establishment of companies, amendments to the articles of association, dissolutions).

Hans Jörg Wälti provides counselling and represents clients in court. He is member of the Swiss and Lucerne Bar Associations, of the Law Association of the Canton of Lucerne, and of the Notary Association of the Canton of Lucerne.

He speaks German, English and French.
