Dr. Patrick Troller ist seit 1979 Partner bei Troller Hitz Troller.

Er studierte und promovierte an der Universität Bern. Von 1977 - 1979 arbeitete er am Max-Planck-Institut für ausländisches und internationales Patent-, Urheber- und Wettbewerbsrecht in München und verfasste dort seine Dissertation. Er erwarb in Luzern 1976 das Anwaltspatent und 1979 das Notariatspatent.

Immaterialgüterrecht und Wettbewerbsrecht bilden seit 1979 die Schwerpunkte seiner Tätigkeit. Er befasst sich vor allem mit Patent- und Markenrecht, sowie mit Urheberrecht, Designrecht, unlauterem Wettbewerb, Firmen- und Namensrecht.

Patrick Troller ist mit der weltweiten Hinterlegung und Verwaltung von Marken und Designs befasst.

Er ist beratend tätig und vertritt Parteien in gerichtlichen Verfahren in den meisten deutschschweizerischen Kantonen sowie in Schiedsgerichtsverfahren und ist auch als Notar tätig.

Er ist u.a. Mitglied von AIPPI Schweiz, International Trademark Association (INTA), Association Littéraire et Artistique Internationale (ALAI), der Internationalen Liga für Wettbewerbsrecht, Institut für gewerblichen Rechtschutz (INGRES), SF Schweizer Forum für Kommunikationsrecht, des Luzerner und Schweizerischen Anwaltsverbandes sowie des Rotary Clubs Luzern.

Patrick Troller ist Präsident des Stiftungsrates der Festival Strings Lucerne sowie Stiftungsrat der Stiftung Konzerthaus Luzern und der Kammermusik Stiftung.

Dr. Troller spricht deutsch, englisch, französisch und italienisch.
