Patrick Troller, docteur en droit, avocat, est associé de l’étude Troller Hitz Troller depuis 1979.
Il a étudié à l'Université de Berne, où il a obtenu son doctorat. De 1977 à 1979, il a travaillé à l'Institut Max-Planck pour le droit des brevets, le droit d’auteur et le droit de la concurrence déloyale étrangers et internationaux. Il a obtenu le brevet d'avocat en 1976 et le brevet de notaire en 1979 à Lucerne.
Il consacre l’essentiel de ses activités au droit de la propriété intellectuelle et au droit de la concurrence. Ainsi travaille-t-il en particulier dans le domaine du droit des brevets et du droit des marques ainsi que du droit d'auteur, du droit des designs, du droit de la concurrence déloyale, du droit des raisons sociales et du droit au nom.
Patrick Troller procède également au dépôt et à l’administration de marques et de designs dans le monde entier.
Il a une activité de conseil et plaide devant les tribunaux dans la plupart des cantons de Suisse alémanique et devant les tribunaux d'arbitrage.
Il est notamment membre de l'AIPPI Suisse, de l’International Trademark Association (INTA), de l’Association Littéraire et Artistique Internationale (ALAI), de la Ligue internationale pour le droit de la concurrence, de l'Institut für gewerblichen Rechtsschutz (INGRES), du Forum Suisse du droit de la communication (SF), de l'Ordre des avocats lucernois et de la Fédération Suisse des Avocats. Il est en outre membre du Rotary Club Lucerne.
Patrick Troller est président du conseil de la fondation Festival Strings Lucerne et membre du conseil de la fondation Stiftung Konzerthaus Luzern et de la fondation Kammermusik Stiftung.
