Merlin Linder (1995) joined Troller Hitz Troller as an attorney-at-law in August 2025. He completed his studies at the University of Basel and was admitted to the bar of the Canton of Berne in 2024. He then worked as a research assistant to Prof. Sibylle Hofer, Chair of Legal History and Private Law at the University of Berne. From October 2024 to July 2025 he worked as a Clerk at the District Court of Emmental-Oberaargau.

His professional activities focus on intellectual property law (trademark, patent, design and copyright law including worldwide filing and administration of trademarks and designs) as well as competition, civil procedure and contract law. He also deals with personality, social media and IT law. He represents clients in court and provides counselling.

He is a member of the Institut für gewerblichen Rechtsschutz (INGRES).
