Dr Andreas Galli has been a partner at Troller Hitz Troller since 2025.

He studied and obtained his doctorate at the University of Basel. He was admitted to the bar in 2004, obtained the Lucerne trustee licence in 2023 and the CAS Baukultur certificate (HSLU) in 2024.

In his first years in the profession, Andreas Galli worked as a court clerk at the Lucerne City District Court, as a research assistant at the Swiss Competition Commission (Weko) and as a research assistant at the chair of Prof. Dr Dr Ernst A. Kramer at the University of Basel and as a senior research assistant at the chair of Prof. Dr Andreas Furrer at the University of Lucerne.

From 2008, Andreas Galli served as a district judge at the various district courts in the Canton of Lucerne until he was elected to the Cantonal Court of Lucerne in 2015 which he presided from 2019 to 2021.

After moving to advocacy, Andreas Galli was a partner in a medium-sized law firm in Lucerne for around four years. 

He specialises in public and private construction law, public procurement law and general administrative law. Andreas Galli also specialises in contract law and general commercial law issues as well as enforcement law matters. He advises companies, private individuals and public institutions and represents their interests before state courts and administrative authorities. He acts as trustee in probate proceedings and deals with a wide range of enforcement law issues.

Andreas Galli is a lecturer in private law at the University of St. Gallen (HSG), head of the CAS ‘Civil Litigation’ programme at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and a lecturer in construction law at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU). He is a member of the board of directors of various companies.

Andreas Galli is a member of the Lucerne and Swiss Bar Associations and the Lucerne Trustee Association.

Andreas Galli speaks German, English, French and Portuguese.
